  • M.TECH(Masters of Technology)
      It  can be either an academic or professional master's degree in the field of engineering.



 

  • ENTRANCE EXAM :       GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering)

It is an all India examination that primarily  tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidate   in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post graduate level   subjects in science

 GATE score is used for admissions to post-graduate program(e.g ,M.E,M.TECH ,direct ph.D) in IISc,IITs and NITs

  1. Several public sectors (PSUs) like GAIL,HPCL,BHEL used GATE scores for screening for providing a salaried  employment.  
  2. you can try for Ms admissions in some of foreign countries like Singapore and Malaysia.
  3. you can shift to management side by doing PG Diploma of 2 years in Industrial engineering in NITE Mumbai.
  • WHERE U CAN DO THIS COURSE:       only in India
  • COMPETITION :      only from India by stream wise.

  • COST FOR DOING M.TECH PER YEAR:  in  govt colleges like IITs and NITs it may vary from 20k-30k and u can  get stipend   from govt  12k.

                JOB AND SALARY  AFTER THIS COURSE :if u are doing this course from IITs and NITs u can get 15 L-20L per annum  and it get    increased per  year.

MS is a post graduate degree awarded by various universities across the globe. This degree is
awarded in countries like India, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Nether land, Russia, Sweden, UK and USA.

    The most popular one is G R E.

 It's the most commonly required admission test for doing ms.the G R E exam is a broad assessment of your critical thinking, analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning skills.

  •  SYLLABUS:                                                                                                          
it is different from b tech syllabus. It contain, Mathematics, physics, psychology, chemistry,biology,literature in English, Biochemistry,cell and molecular biology.
  • WHY GRE?
   In the graduate school admissions process, the level of emphasis that is placed upon GRE  scores varies widely between schools and between departments within schools.

  • WHERE U CAN DO THIS COUSE?:    Either In India or Abroad
  • COMPETITION:it is little bit high compared to m.tech because any graduate from any country  can do this course
  • COST FOR DOING THIS COURSE:It is very high .It may vary from 25L-30L and u may get funds from USA govt 10L.
  • JOB AND SALARY AFTER THIS COURSE  :u may get salary from 20L-24L but there is no guarantee job for Indians.



  • MBA(Master of Business Administration
 It is a post-graduate degree that helps students to become experts in managing businesses in all forms – whether it is a small family business or a big company.    

  • ENTRANCE EXAMs: CAT,XAT, CMAT,MAT,SNAP. 
                 The most popular one among all these exams is CAT

  • About CAT:  CAT (Common Admission Test) is the premier all India management entrance exam 
  • SYLLABUS:  CAT is a test with no predefined syllabus, however past trends suggest that CAT tests in general aptitude including Verbal Ability (English), Quant Ability (Mathematics), Logical Reasoning (LR) and Data Interpretation (DI) skills.
  • WHO CONDUCT THIS EXAM?:   IIM(Indian Institute of Management)
  • WHY CAT?:  This test is used  for selecting students for their business administration programs.
  • COMPETITION:It is very high compared to GATE and GRE because not only the b.tech graduate but also any graduate  from any country can choose this course.
  • WHERE U CAN DO THIS COURSE?: Either in India or Abroad
  • COST FOR DOING THIS COURSE:An MBA abroad  may cost anywhere from Rs. 20 to 50 lakh, whereas an Indian MBA will cost somewhere from 7.5 lakh to 25 lakh.
  • JOB AND SALARY AFTER THIS COURSE:  you may start separate business or place in banking ,Insurance and you can get salary from 20-30 lakh.
